[ 010 ] [ Video | Commentlog ] backdated to handcuff event!
[The funny thing about waking up in Holloway's Keep after death is that you don't remember anything; who you are, how to speak, what the world around you and everything in it is, nothing at all.
Call it chance that Vie, while inspecting the journal manages to activate the video feature. She gives the book, and anyone who happens to catch the broadcast a curious look before getting distracted by her own hands, feet and eventually, the room around her.
Journal discarded on the floor, Vie manages to make her way out into the hallway. At least she remembers how to walk by now, hm?]
((ooc: Handcuff event! Vie's getting cuffed to Garrus. Interaction otherwise is more than welcome. :3))

[No really. What is that word and why is it familiar.
He knows her, or at least it seems like he does. Vie has no idea what Garrus is saying, however. She motions to the key in her hand and the lock on the wrist with it, then shakes her head. It doesn't fit.]

[Because that's the only answer he has for why she doesn't seem to listen to him.]
[... but that question would also need also need translating. So, instead, he offers her the key in his other hand.]
no subject
Surprise, surprise, it doesn't fit either.]
Dammit.
[At least that word was in Common.]
no subject
[Except they sort of need to communicate to be able to get out of this.]
How about you? Did you have a key?
no subject
It didn't fit the lock of mine.
[HELLO COMMON TONGUE I'VE MISSED YOU. Vie frowns at the words as they spill from her mouth. Weird. Where the hell did she learn Common?]
no subject
Did... your translator start up again?
[That has to be it. Right? Not anything else. It can't be. Instead of dwelling on that, however, he goes to fiddle with the key and the lock.]
no subject
[She looks to the key and then to Garrus, watching his expression and trying to make some sense of everything.]
Mar nomad'.
[Wait. Wrong language.]
You know me, don't you?
no subject
[Which meant...]
[Damn.]
Yeah... Yeah, I do. You okay?
