[The comm clicks on to the sound of being dropped. It clatters across the floor and is accompanied by the delicate sound of a screaming five year old girl. There's a thud, the patter of some frantic, heavier than usual footwork and a panicked whine. Oh, and then a slamming door.]

Onai? Mokao!?

[She sounds like she's trying not to cry. There's a little bit of silence while Vie stares at her new surroundings and tries very hard not to have a panic attack.]

Tashi si mar?

[Finally Vie realizes that she dropped something on her mad escape from her room and dashes back to pick it up. She's got no idea what it is, or that it's broadcasting to the entire boat, but she dropped it so it must be hers? There's a fumble and a thud and the audio cuts out. ]

(ooc: Vie is 5 years old and on deck 12. She's a little distressed after finding a stranger in her room and remembers nothing of her time on the boat. I will probably get lazy with the Kirovian and summarise it, but for now WE SHALL SEE.

[Whoa hey. Child suddenly on his lap. Goten blinks down in surprise when she types something for him to read -catmen?- but it's pretty clear that she's terrified and he rests his chin atop her head, arms going around her as he makes his own response.]

I don't think so. I think you both just got lost; I didn't hear about any catmen taking anyone away.

[Hopefully this...whatever this is won't last too long so he won't have to lie to Vie for more than a week. Poor little thing.]

[She looks up at him as best she can with his chin on top of her head and then redirects her attention to the comm. It takes her a little bit to read the words but she manages enough to get the point. No Gashin. This is good news.]

PHEW.

[It's entirely exaggerated, but her relief is evident. Vie flops back against him, quite content to stay where she is until she's made to move. The girl is quiet for a few seconds and then, as though suddenly remembering something sits up to tap a message into her comm.]

"thank you goten i like you lots"

[OH GRACIOUS. She is so cute. Is this how Gohan felt looking after him? Maybe he can convince his mother to adopt or something...

But he'll give her a little hug and grin before ushering her off of his lap so they can stand. He types a message for her to read before holding out his hand.]

I don't know about you but all that running made me hungry. Want to go get some snacks?
