[ 2-7 ] [ audio / commentlog ]
[The comm clicks on to a heavy breath. There's a pause before Vie speaks, and when she does her voice is lacking it's usual enthusiasm. Instead Vie's tone is quiet but firm, an attempt at hiding any emotion but failing more than she would like to admit.]
Marco.
[Another pause. This is harder than she thought.]
You have my loyalty. I will aid you in whatever way I can, just as I did him.
[And that's all you get. She's forced calm for long enough for today. Vie shuts off the comm and lets it drop to the ground beside her.
Anyone passing along Deck 12 might notice a young woman sitting against the door of room 1212. She's hugging her knees to her chest and staring blankly ahead. Not wanting to believe that she's lost her closest friend once again, Vie is waiting. Silently she prays to every god she's ever believed in to bring him back, or at very least protect Godric and everyone else that's vanished without a trace where ever they are now.
Vie refuses to think any of those lost to be dead.]
(ooc: She won't be much for conversation right now. Vie's not taking the loss of Godric very well. This is the third time that she's let someone in only to lose them a short time after. She's got a pretty short fuse and is severely lacking patience. If she snaps, it's nothing personal. Vie's a bit of an emotional wreck right now. In time she'll be back to normal. For now? approach at your own risk. :<)

[there's a slight pause. what comes next is said in a very pleading tone]
Please tell me where you are...?
[audio]
Pamela, really it's... Deck 12. Room 1212.
[audio]
Viiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
[she runs up at full speed, drops to her knees, and slides in on her momentum to throw her arms about vie in an enormous hug]
[audio]
Pamela--
[Forget talking. Vie's just going to hug-cling right back.]
[audio]
[she'll be here for as long as vie needs her, and she'll listen if vie wants to talk]
[audio]
I lost a friend. It's out of my control, but still.
[She's mumbling. Vie shakes her head.]
You and I still need to go flying.
[audio]
W-was it Godric...? [it's a shot in the dark, yes, but of all the people to disappear lately, it's probably her best bet] I-it's okay to feel sad... 'cause he was your friend...
[pamela pulls back a bit so as to see vie's face more clearly -- but leaves her hands resting comfortably against vie's shoulders -- and smiles her very best smile]
Would flying make Vie feel better...?
[audio]
Yes, Godric. He and I got along very well. There was nothing to it, not romantically at least, but we were... allies.
[Vie sits back and perks up a bit when Pamela smiles at her.]
It certainly would. But perhaps another day. I'm feeling rather sluggish today.
[audio]
Pamela liked Godric too... He was super nice...
[ah, that's much better. her grin grows in response]
O-okay! We'll do lotsa flying! Lotsa fun!!
