[ 2-7 ] [ audio / commentlog ]
[The comm clicks on to a heavy breath. There's a pause before Vie speaks, and when she does her voice is lacking it's usual enthusiasm. Instead Vie's tone is quiet but firm, an attempt at hiding any emotion but failing more than she would like to admit.]
Marco.
[Another pause. This is harder than she thought.]
You have my loyalty. I will aid you in whatever way I can, just as I did him.
[And that's all you get. She's forced calm for long enough for today. Vie shuts off the comm and lets it drop to the ground beside her.
Anyone passing along Deck 12 might notice a young woman sitting against the door of room 1212. She's hugging her knees to her chest and staring blankly ahead. Not wanting to believe that she's lost her closest friend once again, Vie is waiting. Silently she prays to every god she's ever believed in to bring him back, or at very least protect Godric and everyone else that's vanished without a trace where ever they are now.
Vie refuses to think any of those lost to be dead.]
(ooc: She won't be much for conversation right now. Vie's not taking the loss of Godric very well. This is the third time that she's let someone in only to lose them a short time after. She's got a pretty short fuse and is severely lacking patience. If she snaps, it's nothing personal. Vie's a bit of an emotional wreck right now. In time she'll be back to normal. For now? approach at your own risk. :<)

[Voice]
That other man said that too. Will he be back soon...?
[Voice] you really are trying to break her more aren't you XD
I don't know. I hope so.
[Voice] well yeah, i AM a boat-mun :|
What d'you think he wants?
[Voice] .... valid point is valid. carry on soldier.
Keep in mind that we don't know if he'll be back. But if he does return, I bet Godric will want to see that drawing you mentioned.
[Voice] sir yes sir
[Voice]
I don't... If he can, he will.
[Voice] + a billion edits
...Miss Vie, did Mr. Godric die?
[Voice]
I think... most people here will say yes. I don't think he's dead, just... elsewhere.
[Voice]
[Voice]
Yes... Wait. Goten, you know of the Other World?
[Voice]
[Voice]
Hmm, it's possible. I was thinking more of how we're all from different worlds. Maybe he's just in another world? I don't think they're dead.
[Voice]
[Some silence.]
Miss Vie?
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
Of course. Where are you?
[Voice]
[Voice]
[HOW DOES SHE NOT KNOW THIS!?]
[Voice]
...hold on, I'll go look.
[Luckily someone suggested he write it down, so he just has to find out where he crammed that piece of paper.]
Umm, six-three-six-oh. ...that's my room, I think. I'm on floor seven.
[Voice] --> [Action?]
[She's on her way. Vie is pretty quick usually and this time she's a woman on a mission. Congratulations on being one of the only people capable of moving her away from that door, Goten.
Sure she's gonna head straight back to Godric's door once she knows Goten is okay, but at least she's moving.]
[commentlog fuck yeah]
He doesn't wait for her to arrive, instead just clutching his picture and opening the door to peer out the hallway, looking back and forth since he's not sure from which direction she'll be coming.]
[commentlog!]
Goten.
[Much as she wants to, Vie is determined not to cry in front of him. This time it's her turn to be the strong one.]
[commentlog!]
He checks to make sure he has his keycard; having locked himself out of his room a few times in his excitement has started to get Goten in the habit of making sure he's carrying it. The picture is folded up and tucked into his shirt and then he heads over to Vie and-
Hugs her legs. He's fairly small for a seven-year-old, really only about as tall as a five-year-old, so he only barely reaches Vie's hip at the top of his head. He pats her leg though, and quietly murmurs,]
There there. It's okay.
[commentlog!]
She opens her mouth to speak, to say something, but the words fail. Never in her life has Vie been consoled by a child. Biting her lip, she gives talking another shot. Her voice is soft, but audible.]
I know... I've still got you.
[And Kevas and Mikey and Alice and everyone else she's befriended since arriving on the boat. Her eyes are wet before she realizes. So much for not crying.]
[commentlog!]
It's a childish portrait of Godric with his fangs and a classic Dracula cape on.] You can keep this until he gets back, okay?
