I was under the impression that these cells were our own. Forgive my lateness is stating as much, but there are clothes in my quarters that are certainly not mine.

[Or belonging to anyone else that she's had in there lately...]

Feminine attire, would be my guess. And not from my world, either. If anyone is missing clothes, let me know.

[She'd be tempted to keep some of them if they were actually her size. Sob.]

Unrelated to that, I've a question about the birds that swept through the Keep... What are they, exactly? The black ones. There are similar back at home, but none quite like this.

[Still smiling, she takes a half step back and glances down at the puppy before looking back to Hawke. Vie doesn't let go of his hand though.]

I think your friend misses you.

[She's got a lot better with dogs since she's met Hawke. If he likes them so much, they can't be all that bad. Besides, these aren't like the ones from home.]

[He doesn't seem to mind that at all. His gaze follows hers to the puppy watching them, waiting its turn to get some attention. Hawke grins and begins scratching it behind its ears which immediately sends its leg kicking.]

Aren't I popular then? Everyone here wants my attention.

[Don't think hasn't noticed. Hawke can still remember when his mabari terrified her. How anyone could be scared of what amounted to a giant puppy he'll never know.]

Wonder if it has a name.
