[ 004 ] [ Audio ]
[The first sound to grace the airwaves was a yawn, moments later followed by a voice.]
I wake to find a storm on the borders, on the approach, it would seem. It might be in our best interests to not wander outside too much. A sandstorm is worse, but a dust storm, assuming that's what this even is, can be near choking.
[She might have lived through a few of those in her lifetime.]
What I want to know is wher--
[The question lingers as to just where the dust is coming from, but as she was about to ask, Vie noticed something... wasn't quite right. She switched to her native tongue, words more alert than those before.]
What in hell is that!?
[End transmission.]

[He's still worried though.]
You sure you don't want me to come down there and try to help?
[At the least he can keep her company.]
no subject
When she speaks, her voice is calm.]
If you're passing by this way, stop in, please. I'm in my room.
no subject
[And off he goes! Completely and totally oblivious to any sort of situation he just caused!]
no subject
Just.. be careful if you're passing by outside. The dust coming over is probably more worrying than this... writing.
[When he arrives she's pacing her room and looking at her arm every few seconds to check the progress. There's got to be a simple answer to this and Vie is determined to find it.
The room itself is a mass of books, scribbles, notes and maps of places and things not in the Keep. Normally this work would be kept away from people, but Hawke is Hawke and there are bigger things happening.]
no subject
I believe you ordered for one dashing champion?
no subject
Care to save me from this mess?
no subject
I could scribble all over you so it looks like you did this on purpose.
no subject
Yes, sure, because that will stop it from covering me from head to toe.
[She scratches her neck where the writing is.]
I think it's slowed, at least.
no subject
[Hawke takes a closer look at her neck. Yep, that's definitely writing alright.]
Is there something you did to aggravate it? Or didn't do?
no subject
I've done nothing different to what I've been doing this past few weeks. Last night I climbed a few towers, took a few notes. It's nothing different to any other night.
[She doesn't like this at all.]
no subject
Alright, what haven't you been doing?
no subject
[She takes a moment to think on that.]
I don't think-- Wait.
[Moving to her bed, Vie picks up her journal and flicks back through it.]

I've been quiet. We were told to keep records. I've not done that.
no subject
[He wonders just what might happen if people go months without saying anything.]
Might want to start talking more then. If not then I'll jsut have to get you to make some noise myself.
no subject
[She hopes she's right about this.]
Hm... Would you believe my silence has been deliberate?
[Vie glances to Hawke.]
And just how would you do that?
no subject
[Hawke just grins.]
I have my ways.
no subject
Such confidence. In any case, I think I'll see if I can get to Sycora. She's the doctor, after all.
[Only that storm is rolling in and the staff are missing, but hey! Worth a shot?]
no subject
That was uncalled for.
[He nods in agreement.]
We'll need to get you through that storm somehow.
no subject
[She peers up at him.]
Not much sense in both of use choking to death out there.
[And yet she can't help but feel good that he cares.]
no subject
[Sorry but after that whole spider thing he won't be letting her go out there alone.]
no subject
[She's teasing. Vie pulls on a shirt and looks for something to cover her face with.]
no subject
A certain spider covered butter knife said otherwise.
[Now it's off to find something of his own to protect his face. If he can survive fighting crazed fanatics in poison gas than he can handle this dust.]
no subject
I got you back for that.
no subject
Sure you want to remind me of that before we go out there?
