To those of you I haven't met, my name is Vie. Should this name register familiar to any of you, please, I would like to know.

[She falls silent. Vie can't help but feel a little silly.]

Once already I've encountered someone who knew me but I did not know him. And now I am left to wonder if my mind has been tampered with, or my memory, for that matter.

[This is a foolish venture. What can she hope to achieve from it? The names of more who know her but that she doesn't recall?]

My question, is if anyone else has had similar experiences, or if I'm on my own. However, if we come from different worlds, different lands, then who is to say that alternate realities do not exist? Fa'rein, I sound mad.

I am... wary of this place.

[The sound earns a slight frown. Oh dear.]

So now you're threatening me? It doesn't take much to get you worked up now does it. I was kidding. Calm down.

I don't like being insulted.

Oh? You don't like being insulted? And yet you go around calling everyone stupid organics and squishy little meat sacks?

Funnily enough, friend, the rest of us don't like being insulted either.

You're nothing, compared to someone like me. I'm the highest form of existence in any universe. I'll treat you however I want. It's not my fault you don't like what you are.

Whoever said I don't like what I am? Because I'm not you I'm inferior?

[Vie LAUGHS.]

You sir, are a fool. So caught up in yourself that you're blind to those around you. If you are so mighty, then why not get yourself out of here? If you are so great, then why are you a captive.

I never said you didn't like anything. I just said you were inherently inferior to me. Because I'm not tiny, or made of meat.

It's only temporary. I just haven't found a way back yet.
