gotyourwallet: ([ yes? ] perhaps she never left)

[ 2-9 ] [Audio]

[There's a moment of silence before she speaks. Vie's voice is a little less happy than usual.]

Tony. You and I need to talk.

Of course I didn't give my side! Look at the way you're acting now- how you were acting then! You'd already decided my guilt. Forgive me for not having the heart to play along. [He makes a mocking little bow.]

Fa'rec, mar si unaseu.

[She's sounds tired, frustrated when she mutters her Kirovian. Vie rolls her eyes at his bow. If that's how he wants to play, then play they shall.]

Yes, it's all my fault. Aren't I terrible for putting poor little Tony in his place?

[Commentlog] WHAT'D SHE SAY? Translate, translate!

[identity profile] irredemption.livejournal.com 2010-08-14 02:01 pm (UTC)(link)
That's not what I'm saying and you know it. [He's starting to sound frustrated again, as well.]

[Commentlog] "FSCK! YOU ARE FRUSTRATING!! 8U"

Enlighten me then, Tony.

Evidence against you is not in your favor. And after grabbing me as you did, I can't say I believe you when you said neither Mimmi or Link were hurt.

[Commentlog] Teehee!

Whatever evidence [The word is said with clear disgust, and he crouches a bit as he says it, making little quotations with his index and middle fingers.] you have is second-hand, Vie. You weren't there. For all you know, I didn't even touch them.

As for grabbing you? I think that was more than justified after your little move back there.

Which is why I asked for your side of things in the first place!

As for my actions, I will take what punishment comes my way. Words don't seem to work with you, so force was worth a try. That was annoyed. Trust me Tony, you do not want to see me angry.

I told you- it was an off day, I did and said some things I probably shouldn't have, and it just got blown out of proportion. It's not that bloody hard to understand!

If that was annoyed, well- [Tony stops with a short laugh.] you've got yourself some problems that you need to sort out.

You think I'm bad? May you never encounter my nahnzel'c.

[Really, she's the nice one of her team. Vie's expression darkens and she takes a few steps back.]

This conversation is going no where. I'm leaving. Don't go near them again.

[Vie turns to storm off.]

Yes, of course, walk away, now that you've had your fun.

[He shakes his head, turning away from her as well.]

But really, we should do this again sometime- it's been very enlightening!

[She had been content to leave, to not say anymore and have no more to do with this man. And then he speaks his last words and her temper finally snaps. Vie turns, the motion fast and fluid, hand shifting to retrieve the mirror shard and fling it at him full force.

It's not a shot to kill, or severely wound, rather just to nick his arm as he retreats. The attack is a warning. Vie stills, assessing the result of her throw.]

[Tony had not expected that at all. Which is why he jumps and lets out a sharp yelp when the mirror shard slices through the left sleeve of his jacket and skin, starting the blood. Immediately, he stops walking, pressing his other hand to the cut and glancing at it as it comes away bloody. He's silent for a long moment, still, before he turns around to face Vie, any and all traces of kind emotion wiped completely from his face.]

Are you quite done?

[She's quiet as well, watching him carefully and awaiting his next move. Her expression is stern, stance strong and challenging, almost daring him to make a move.]

I am if you are. Don't push me, Tony.

[That said, she turns to resume her departure.]

[He doesn't move for a time, simply stands there for a few beats, watching as Vie walks away. Then, as if he's come to a sudden decision, he abruptly starts after her. When he catches up, he grabs her by the shoulder, whirling her around.]

Good. Good! Then I guess it's my turn now, eh?

[Giving her a brief shake, he lets go of her shoulders, hands closing around her throat.]

[Commentlog] /stab

[identity profile] gotyourwallet.livejournal.com 2010-08-16 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[The shake is a shock, but she's wriggling for the knife, stolen from the dinner table that's in her boot. Before she can get to it however, Tony's hands close around her throat. Her eyes widen. Vie chokes out a strangled gasp.

This certainly wasn't part of the plan.

One hand reaches to grab his wrist, the other fumbling for the knife. It seems a useless venture at first, and she manages to get a hold on it. The thought crosses her mind to kick him in the nads, but height differences, angling and the fact that his hands are still around her neck and she's running out of air push that idea quickly aside.

Her survival instinct kicks into play and Vie drives the knife into Tony's side, catching him in the fleshy area just below his rib cage.]

[Commentlog] YAY!

[identity profile] irredemption.livejournal.com 2010-08-16 03:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[Tony's intent wasn't to kill her- in choking her, he didn't really have an intent. He was just angry, just wanted to make her stop talking.

Being stabbed was definitely not what he had expected in return for his troubles. When the knife goes in, he makes no reactive sound at first, the shock and pain of it driving both thought and breath from him. His hands go almost immediately from her neck to his side, and he looks from her to the wound to back at her with an expression of absolute disbelief.]

You- you just stabbed me.

[He stops, looking again at the wound and then at her, taking a step back, then another. His legs feeling shaky, he opens his mouth, closes it, and then repeats himself-]

You stabbed me!

[And that's when the panic sets in. That stupid, stupid urge to go for his pipe rises up once more, and he reaches for the inside pocket of his suit, taking it out with trembling hands. He stares down at it, numbly, looking confused. Oh. That's no good. As THAT realization dawns on him, the panic is further cemented, and he feels his legs give out on him.]

[Commentlog] lmfao <3

[identity profile] gotyourwallet.livejournal.com 2010-08-17 10:22 am (UTC)(link)
[There is blood on her hand, blood on the blade, red coating the silver metal all the way up to the handle. She'd driven it deep, just as she's been taught to do, turning her wrist on it's way out without even realizing she's doing it in a bid to do more damage than necessary. It's a strange thing to know, more so to of learned at an early age. Vie's other hand finds her throat and she chokes out a hoarse breath.]

You--

[Her neck is bruised. She knows it will be mostly better in a few hours but for now it hurts to breathe, let alone talk.]

Deserved it.

[She coughs, slipping the bloody knife back into her boot. That done, Vie turns on her heel and stalks off.]
