[The video feeds kicks in with the fast blur image of the library. It would seem the comm has taken a leap from the hands of it's owner and is plummeting from the top of a bookshelf to the floor. A voice cuts through the air, speaking in a strange language.]

[With a thud, it lands, completely undamaged and left to lie with it's lens facing upwards to where it fell from. Perched on the top railing of a ladder with her foot resting on the edge of a shelf is Vie. She leans over to peer down at the comm, hand still outstretched from holding it only seconds before.

There's a short moment of the woman just... looking, expression slightly worried that she might of broken the comm. She nabs a rather thick book from the shelf that her foot rests on and in a swift motion jumps from the top of the ladder. Vie lands lightly and reaches to pick up the comm. Anyone watching will see her turn the comm in her hands and hold it up for inspection. Spying no damage, she smiles before realizing that the video is active and that she's broadcasting to the entire boat.]

Ah... sorry!

[She can't not laugh as she shuts the video feed off.]

(ooc: 1Ta! Suto'nmi-- Merce! means 'No! Come bac-- SHIT' in Vie's native tongue. She's in the library, eager to do some research on some, or rather one of the races she's just met. Can anyone say 'Vampire?' Vie's encounter with Eric has left her determined to know her target and not fear him. Godric has left her plain curious.)

[Lilith goes slowly, deliberately taking longer than necessary in chomping another bite of pizza, swallowing at her leisure. She smiles and spreads her hands to touch the shelves on either side.]

[Reflex kicks in and Vie takes a step back, stance dropping and ready to attack should the need arise. She has none of her usual weapons, and she's not sure what her bare knuckles will do to a jellyfish woman, BUT she does have that rather thick hardcover book in her hands... and she ain't afraid to use it.]

That...

[Pause.]

That would explain a lot.

[Without having processed a single word, Lilith happily switches over into the dimension of the living and beaaaaams.]

Neat, huh? Ain't nobody who can touch me while I'm like that.

[Have a rather amazed skinny young woman sinking to the floor to sit cross legged and just... stare.]

That's a rather amazing trick you've got there. If you don't mind my asking, ah.. what are you?

[She gives herself a cocky chest thump and an eyebrow waggle for Vie, who has managed to push yet another narcissistic button. In the good way, depending on how much she likes braggarts.]

A freaking siren. You hear about vampires all the time, but they're a dime a dozen compared to us. We are badass bitches.

[Vie laughs at that.]

To be perfectly honest, I'd never heard of Vampires until this past week.

On that note, I've never heard of a Siren either.

[It takes actually concentrating on one thing and zoning out of her surroundings, but when Lilith holds up her index finger she can summon a few sparks, and then a pretty little flame. She keeps it burning for ten whole seconds, then dispels.]

Sirens are multi-talented and sexy as hell. Don't let any fool tell you different.

Where I come from, there are no blood drinkers. Perhaps I'll have to think up an appropriate title.

[Vie watches that spark of flame, head tilting slightly to the side.]
