Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Vie is 5'6" and has a rather thin frame. What's on her is muscle, and even then it ain't much.

2. How old is she? 23

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? Vie stands tall and proud, even when wounded.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? She's incredibly fit and agile, partially from her species and partially from her line of work. Vie is pretty thin, but that's just her build.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Vie moves silent and smooth and graceful and fluid and whoooosh~ She's fast and agile and could walk on snow without leaving a footprint.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? Vie is pretty damn good looking. However, she often dresses in male attire (who would wear a dress or skirt when breaking into a castle, seriously) and has been mistaken for a skinny (if pretty) young man a few times. She doesn't see herself as anything special.

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Vie has a light tan, clear skin and the odd scar here and there.

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Her hair is dark brown and falls somewhere between shoulders and mid back. It's got a bit of a wave to it.

9. What color are her eyes? Her eyes are hazel, flecked with yellow.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Nope. :3

11. What are her chief tension centers? The base of her neck/top of her spine.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Vie wears thigh high boots more often than not, brown leather and carefully crafted to protect but not weigh her down. With that comes shorts or pants that generally tuck into the boots and either a dark tunic with belts for her knives or a simple, strapless wrap around her chest. The area she's been living in for the past however long is mostly desert, so she's comfortable wearing not much at all.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? Yes and Yes. :3

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? There isn't much change at all. Vie ditches the boots when she's relaxing, but the rest stays the same. Barefoot makes climbing easier.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando? COMMANDO! 8D ...sometimes. PANTIES.



Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Her voice is soft and feminine but with a slightly raw edge when she speaks her native tongue.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? Kirovian is a very fast language. Every sound is pronounced and she speaks it with ease. It's a little rough, but flows well. English is a little slower, but she still holds to carefully pronouncing the word and not skipping any detail.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Her accent is like a mash up of German, British, Russian and French. Chelle is pronounced 'shyel-eh'. Fa'rein pronounced 'fee-al rayn' with a brief pause between fee-al and rayn.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Kirovian is her native tongue and she speaks that perfectly. Shenta, or English, she learned the basics of in her youth. Her master, Shad was a freak for words and reading and discussion, so taught her the rest. Since she's a bit of a geek, she studied hard and picked the language up easily.

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? When frustrated or deep in thought, Vie switches back to Kirovian.

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? She's pretty damn good with words. Certain events catch her off guard (being hit on) but she recovers well enough.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Vie is very, very, very eloquent. As in question 6, she can sometimes be caught off guard and lose her words, but recovers quickly.


Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? A bit of both, really. Vie lived on the streets as a petty thief for more than a few years and fled her original home into untamed wilderness. Otherwise she's a book nerd, reading and learning and questioning everything she comes across. She's too curious for her own good.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She's a quick thinker.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Vie works on a basis of logic, but will turn on that to trust a gut feeling. She likes simplicity, but is open to ideas and is something of a dreamer.

4. What kind of education has the character had? She was taught the basics by her mother until she was 15, then went without education and more to hands on experience for the next three years... and then went back to books with a blend of hands on and yes.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? She likes history and languages and reading and learning about.. absolutely anything and everything. She's curious of races and people and worlds, as well as buildings and treasures and legends and STUFF.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? She's an introverted extrovert.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Vie is cheerful and happy more often than not, but has an incredibly protective nature. Piss her off and face her wrath. Happy as she is, recent events have awakened a hint of melancholy, but she keeps it under control. Vie is very proud and stubborn and does what she can to hide her weakness.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? Vie is cautious and curious and... enthusiastic but careful with hew situations.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? Pause, watch for a few seconds and ACT.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight? FIGHTO!

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Jokes, sarcasm, morbid humour blah blah. she laughs a lot. pranks are cool too.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Nope.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Being born into slavery, growing up as part of a cursed race, losing her father when she was 15/16 and having to run for her life, living as a street pick-pocket with Jhett, fucking up and being imprisoned, being sold on the slave market, working for Shad, ranking as Elite, the Elites and Shad dying and her taking on his title! 8D

14. What does she fear? Being completely alone. Gashin, the were-tiger hunters of her world.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations? Don't die. Steal a lot of cool stuff. Carry on the legend of the thief king.

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? That beneath the calm exterior is a lonely little girl.



Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. Adored both of them, was daddy's girl.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? No siblings. o7

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? Nein.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? Shad, her master and close friend. Jhett, her best friend ever. Tarquin, Korros and Mendev, her Elite comrades.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Jhett and Vie met when she was lost and starving in an uncharted section of an out of bounds forest. She was running for her life. He fed her, helped her and took her with him to the city of Das'nei. They were together every day until forced apart, and even then they fought to find one another.

6. Does she have other close friends? Before the failboat? Shad, Tarquin, Korros and Mendev were her adoptive family and most trusted allies.

On the boat, she's not really close with anyone just yet. Godric and Sanya definitely rank high on her awesome peoples list, as does Xanth and with some work on getting along, Eric.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? Vie is a chatter box and will babble at anyone given the chance. She's friendly so gets along with most.

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Family hasn't been a part of her life for a very long time, so while she thinks it's important, in her experiences she would have to say friends.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? single!

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? Nope!

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? Jhett was first, then Shad. Now? OHOHOHOHOHO. None yet, but there are a few potential targets. 8|;

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner? Tall, loyal and able to make her laugh and feel safe! Someone that has her back in a fight. <3

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? nope nope nope.

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies? Every clansman ever. None on the failboat... yet. Wait. Actually, Eric would count as a rival, in her eyes at least.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale? Straight. Ranks in at a 1.

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? Vie likes sex! It just hasn't happened for a while l-lol. 8|;

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Tall. Strong and agile but not overly muscular. Any attention to her neck is a turn on, just the same as breath or a voice by her ear. Stubble is hot. She ah.. likes a power struggle and is content to lose that struggle.



Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? Nope.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? SHe knows of gods and goddesses and respects them, but isn't overly religious.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Treat others as they treat her. Obey the requests of her master. Question as allowed and blah.

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Super freakin' curious!

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? Dislike and mistrust of animal people and shifters by default on account of a lifetime of being treated like crap/as a slave by them. She's seen a lot of cruelty in her time.



Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? Vie has enough money to buy herself a drink or two, but that money is more an allowance from Shad. She has a bit of cash and treasure, but nothing much. Shad provided and she took what she needed otherwise. Finance is no worry.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? Slave that is now free! And.. not at home. If at home she would be considered rogue and hunted by were-tigers {Gashin) who would happily tear her apart once they caught her. 8D

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? Small tower in Shad's castle was her place to crash. She had a room all to herself and it was lovely. But, since that's all over she.. really doesn't have a home. Her room on the Elegante is an organized mess of trinkets and treasures and strange but random items. Think of Ariel in The Little Mermaid.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? BOOOOOOOOZE. 8D

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? Elite thief for an outcast Clansman with a taste for raiding temples. Yeah, she's good at it. Yeah, she loves it. Adventure is fun :3

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? Vie reads and climbs whenever she can. She likes to talk and will question everything.

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Vie doesn't mind skipping a meal or two. She's used to not eating at meal times. When she does eat however, she eats well and quite a bit. Hell, she's got to get that energy from somewhere. She drinks, but isn't used to the alcohol on offer onthe boat. Vie will work on that, now that she's aware of her tolerance.
