[The video feed kicks in to show a view of the level 3 barracks corridor. Vie walks along, pausing to share both charred brickwork and burnt doors as she goes. It's not every door that's been marked, just a few here and there.]

Have any of you a clue as to just... what is going on here?

[She turns the video to herself, a flaming torch on the wall behind her idly flickering before flaring violently. It's over as quickly as it starts. Vie turns to face it, but finds nothing.]

I'm not sure what to make of any of this.

I agree. This is certainly worrying.

Besides the gardens being burnt to ashes and the same lack of staff, no.

[She hasn't really been outside much today. Unless you count the roof.]

The healer, the woman who cares for the dogs, and the librarian. And someone else, I believe.

That's at least half of them then, or thereabout.

[Vie doesn't like any of this. What do they know that she doesn't?]
