No, of course not. But then, I don't think of vampires as greater than humans. They are powerful and they are immortal. Where I am from, neither power nor immortality makes for greatness. In my experience, it is more likely to do the opposite. Though I think that would lead back to who a person is in addition to what they are, with Godric and Eric as walking examples.

[Offering an opinion on immortality to a stranger whose own traits and abilities she does not know is definitely a good idea. Open mouth; insert foot.]
